G98 Notification to Connect

For systems under 3.68kW, we’ll handle the G98 notification to the DNO quickly and compliantly.

Just send over:

Note

Connection charges from the DNO (e.g., £250) are not included and must be paid separately by the customer or installer. GridConnect can coordinate this on your behalf.

Terms & Conditions

Installers must notify GridConnect if the system includes more than two inverters.
The exact location of the meter must be clearly provided before the application is submitted.

The following items must be submitted in advance:

Planned installation date

A clear photograph of the inverter

A clear photograph of the AC isolator switch (with location shown)

GridConnect is not liable for any Distribution Network Operator (DNO) connection fees. These remain the responsibility of the installer or the customer.

G99 applications will be submitted within 24 hours of receiving all the required documentation.
If the DNO requires de-looping, this will be communicated—but GridConnect does not manage or carry out de-looping works.
GridConnect will provide export limitation details to the customer. However, ensuring G100-compliant equipment is installed remains the installer’s responsibility.
An invoice will be issued once the DNO confirms receipt of the application. Payment is due immediately upon acknowledgment.
