GridConnect Support was founded by Sophie Lea, a solar industry professional with over 8 years of experience in Solar PV operations. In her previous role as Operations Manager, she oversaw everything from installation scheduling to managing complex G98 and G99 DNO applications.

Through that hands-on experience, Sophie saw how time-consuming and frustrating DNO paperwork could be—chasing information, navigating compliance, and explaining export limitations to customers. Installers just wanted to get on with their jobs, without getting buried in admin.
